In this session we started off by reading through the whole script, we also discussed who would talk in an American accent and who would talk in a British accent some characters used other accents such as Romanian and German. Original my character Dr. Scott is from Germany and has some spoken words that are German but because it was quite difficult to do a German accent we decided a British accent would be better. Riff Raff and Magenta start off with a British accent but towards then end begin talking in a Romanian accent. Brad and Janet are the only ones who are talking in an American accent, Frank N Furter, Columbia and Rocky use a British accent throughout the show.
One thing I want to improve is my accent, because at the moment I find it hard not to use an American accent while talking.
One good thing about this session was that we found our starting point which means we can move on to now create and develop the piece further.
Project workshop 2nd April 2019
In this session, we discussed and decided who would choreograph each song and we also decided the backstage roles everyone would take on. I was given Rocky's song The Sword Of Damocles to choreograph and I am going to be apart of the costume, hair and makeup team.
Also, we began to plot the beginning of act 1 and the song Dam it, Janet. In the first few scenes, me and Nehemie are phantoms, we are basically shadows that creep around and every so often we scare Janet. Although I am a phantom, I become a narrator a few times, my role explains the events that have taken place. I mainly stand in one place when I become the narrator.
In this session, we also began to plot Time wrap, for the dance everyone other then Ella (Frank n Furter) are on stage. Brad and Janet are standing on the edge of the stage watching over everyone dancing in shock, they don't start dancing until the last chorus of the song. Riff Raff, Magenta, Columbia, and the phantoms are all dancing.
One thing I would like to improve on for the next session is making the movements in 'time wrap' stronger and cleaner.
Acting workshop 2nd April 2019
In this session, we continued rehearsing what we had done in the project workshop. We also sat down and read through the script, I was told to slow down while saying my lines so that you can hear everything I am saying. After reading through the script we went around the circle explaining who our characters are to our acting teacher.
For the next session I wanted to have started coming off script.
Acting 23rd April 2019
For this session, we focused on plotting everyone starting positions for songs and where everyone would end up when songs finished. Also, we plotted the beginning scenes. we managed to plot up to the end of act one, without the songs.
Project workshop 29th April 2019
In this session we started off by looking at Nehemie and Tilia's choreography for 'touch me', then we went on to start plotting the beginning of act 2. we decided that the 'sex scene' would be done behind a screen. Nehemie also began teaching us 'rose tint'. for the next lesson, we hope to get through 'rose tint' and finish plotting the rest of act 2.
Project workshop 30th April 2019
We continued learning the choreography for 'rose tint'. To improve my performance I need to work on my energy while performing and I need to work on how I am going to move around the stage while in my wheelchair.
Project workshop 7th May 2019
In this session, we continued learning 'time wrap'. We had to go over what we had previously learned and make sure all the movements were over the top and strong. we also had to work out when the right moment would be for us to run down and get in our positions for the dance. Also, we figured out when Tilia and Bethany should join everyone in the dance, we thought they should join for the last chorus after Colombia's tap solo, that would give them time to come down from the stage and join us. In this session we also went over 'hot patootie' and cleaned it up a liitle, it still needs work but its getting their.

One strengths from this session was that I started to interact more with the other characters while singing Hot Patootie, for the next session I wanna clean and finish of hot patootie. One weakness from this session was I kept getting the different chorus dances in time wrap mixed up, to fix this I'm going to go home and practice and watch over the video of the dance so I have all the moves down.
Acting 7th May 2019
In this session we went through the whole thing up to Rose tint my world, this was the first time we went through the whole thing with no stops. I need to work on not breaking character if something goes wrong. We hadn't properly plotted the death scene yet so when we ran it we struggled with our lines and queues, I have to remember not to cut off riff raff when I say 'great heavens that's a layzer.' Our acting teacher said that the run through was really good but there were points where our energy dropped in scenes she said as a whole we need to keep our energy up throughout the performance.
Project workshop 13th May 2019
In this session I began teaching the class the chorography of 'sword of Damocles.' I was a little worried about choreographing because it was my first time doing a full song, but after a few adjustments I was able to teach the whole dance. some parts still need cleaning up but its getting there. We then went on to watch the girls do 'touch me.' In this session I fee we made a lot of progress with the dances, we still need to clean and refine some parts though.
Project workshop 14th May 2019
In this session we started to choreographing 'Eddie teddy,' the chorography was quiet simple and easy to do but we all had to work on moving in unison throughout the song. One thing I struggled with was my spacing because I didn't have the wheelchair to practice with yet I was finding it hard to place myself. I decided to help me space myself I put a chair in the place I would go to when I had the wheelchair.
We also cleaned up 'make you a man' and 'touch me.' I then went on to teach the last part of the chorography for 'sword of Damocles.'
After teaching the girls the dance I decided to change certain parts so the stage wouldn't look so dull. As a whole I feel we all need to improve on our energy while dancing.

Singing 16th May 2019
For this session we decided to go to the studio. We went to the dance studio instead so we could dance and sing at the same time. When I sang through Hot patootie I found that I wasn't breathing enough which lead me to miss lines/words trying to catch my breath, to make sure I don't do this on stage I'm going to go home and practice singing with the dance but breath at certain parts. I feel it was a good decision to go to the studio as it gave us time to work around performing our songs to the audience rather then to each other.
